Rolex launched Submariner in 1953. The idea behind this iconic watch was to create a practical and functional watch which will combine the long lasting relationship with Rolex and the sport world. In 2020, Rolex presents the new generation of its Oyster Perpetual Submariner 124060, which exemplifies the historic links between Rolex and the world of diving. 124060 now features a redesigned, slightly larger 41 mm case – whose profile is highlighted by the light reflections from the case sides and lugs – and are fitted on a remodelled bracelet.

The main peculiarity of the Submariner is it's resistance to water; this watch can resist the pressure of 30 atmospheres (330 meters/1000 feet). The Submariner 124060 is presented with a robust and functional 41mm stainless steel case, which assures reliability and strength. The Submariner 214060 black dial is decorated by large and luminescent hour markers, but the key of the Submariner functionality is without doubt its ceramic, rotatable, corrosion-resistant and scratchproof bezel. This Submariner 124060 rotatable bezel allows the diver to constantly monitoring diving times and compression stops thanks to its engraved 60 minutes graduation. A luminescent capsule on the zero markers assure legibility no matter how dark it is. It is fitted with an Oyster bracelet with flat three-piece links, folding Oysterlock buckle with glidelock extension system. This 124060 is equipped with Rolex calibre 3230 automatic movement, approximately 70 hours of power reserve.
